About me
Trefor is the founder and CEO of Cooper Fitch, the firm was born out of a management buyout of an international recruitment firm called Morgan McKinley, MENA offices. Murphy and the team rebranded and reimaged the firm to Cooper Fitch, where it is now considered the leading recruitment and HR advisory consulting firm in the GCC. Trefor acts as a key advisor to his clients and has developed a reputation for his vital insight and a comprehensive understanding unique to the United Arab Emirates
Saudi Arabia and gulf markets.
Murphy sits on several human capital advisory boards for various international and locally based organisations, he is deeply interested in technology and has a keen eye on tech starts ups. He is a regular
contributor to Dubai Eye’s radio show ‘Business Breakfast’ and CNBC Arabias TV news channel.
Since 2016, Cooper Fitch has had over 100% revenue growth, with a year on year growth of 20% along with the reputation for delivering the highest recruitment service levels to a growing number of clients. Prior to the successful launch of Cooper Fitch Trefor was the Managing Director for an international search firm, supporting the Middle East and North Africa operation and a shareholding partner of the group. He spent fourteen years working with this same search firm globally, helping to make it one of
the most recognised recruitment brands in the world. Trefor has lived permanently in the gulf since 2012.
